There are two types of battery connectors mostly used in mobile phone technology

1: Three terminals battery connectors

2: four terminals battery connectors

                             1- THREE TERMINALS BATTERY CONNECTORS

               In many old and new mobile phones  THREE terminals battery connectors can be seen. Many people even Mobile Technician don,t know that why the most central battery connector used in mobiles.  As the all mobile users know that in mobile phone battery and on the battery connector on PCB, there is a point of Positive current(+) and one for Negative current(-) And third one is for BSI (Battery Status Identification).

Positive terminal of mobile connects with the positive of the battery. It lets the positive current to pass to the components. And the same the negative  connects with the negative and let the negative current to flow toward the parts  of mobiles. The central terminal of mobile and battery is for BSI. It tells about the battery status whether the battery is low or charged. It also tells that the battery is charging or not charging. It gives the complete status of battery showing on screen.



                           FOUR TERMINALS BATTERY CONNECTORS


In many latest smart phones there are four battery connectors. 1st for positive (+), 2nd for negative (-), The 3rd one is for BSI (battery status identification), and the last 4th one is B.temp (Battery temperature). B.temp is very important in mobile technology. It saves mobile phone from overheating and protect it from burning. It also save battery from over charging.
